From The Publisher's Desk
Poetry, ramblings and real life
by Shirley Whiting Allard

The more things change...

You'll notice a few changes at Word Catalyst this month. First, we say farewell to Bob Church who has announced that he is retiring from writing. Bob joined the magazine over a year ago and his column "Not Quite Right" will be missed as will he. I thank him for the humor and brilliant insight his column added to our pages and I wish him well. We love you, Bob!

Next, we have added a section called Children's Corner and for our first issue we have included an original, never before published children's story, "When Wembley Met Matilda" written and illustrated by our own Bob Hazelton. It's a delightful story that you'll enjoy sharing with your children and a portion of the proceeds will go to support Word Catalyst. Thank you, Bob!

Send your children's submissions to editor@wordcatalystmagazine.com

We are also in the process of adding a book page. If you would like to find out how to advertise your chapbook or ebook please inquire at editor@wordcatalystmagazine.com

Inclinations, The Best of Word Catalyst, is now available as a download. The print edition will no longer be available after the December issue. Thanks to everyone who helped promote it by placing it on your blogs and websites.

The more they stay the same

Aside from the above changes we will continue to offer the best of the best
and we invite you to continue to share it with us every month.

Happy Holidays to You and Yours!

- Shirley Allard, Editor/Publisher
