The flowering crab endures but who can blame it for being a little crabby when it's exposed to the wrath of a New England winter.

 

JANUARY THAW
The long and winding brook takes advantage of a January thaw as the already thin ice that forms on running water begins to melt away.

 

ICING
Icicles slowly form on telephone wires as a recent ice storm continues throughout the day in New England.
