ENDURANCE
The flowering crab endures but who can blame it for being a little crabby
when it's exposed to the wrath of a New England winter.

JANUARY THAW
The long and winding brook takes advantage of a January thaw
as the already thin ice that forms on running water begins to melt away.

ICING
Icicles slowly form on telephone wires as a recent ice storm continued throughout the day in New England.
