Poetry by Terry McDermott

Icy and Benny

Deep

Inside

A freezer

In Chicago

Icy found shelter

Unaware of Cong's downfall

The Ice King melted by live sparks

With tiny legs and large evil eyes

These mini-warriors melting the ice world

From Brooke Meadow Lane came a small green bat

Benny searched throughout the universe

His quest was published publicly

The girl who owned the freezer

Shook Icy from his deep sleep

Flying into space

He met Benny

Going home

To free

Cone
