Superman On A Bad
Day
Does
Superman ever have bad days when the villains win and those who
count on him feel as if they've been let down?
Of late I've been trying to be Superman
but I've had to face facts: Kryptonite has no effect on me. Neither
does a yellow sun. I can't leap over tall buildings in a single
bound and I'm not faster than a speeding locomotive. Oh sure,
bullets still bounce off my chest... rubber bullets that is...
When x-ray vision cannot see
and bars you cannot bend,
the world, a big catatastrophe
and you're sure you're near your end.
When evil comes to visit
and there's nothing you can do,
the pretty girls cry out in fear
and you wish you'd only flew...
away... so far away...
