MAGIC FOUNTAIN
Clear and sparkling, reaching high,
then sprinkling crystals to ground
bursting into a thousand jewels,
their whishing the only sound.
Until giggles fill the air,
Children have come to play
in this fountain of wonders
on a scorching summer day.
Tis a fountain of youth
for children of all ages.
All who taste its water
freed from their very cages.
They come from the offices.
And from all the schools.
Men come from the mills.
Workmen lay down their tools.
The fountain calls them all
to swish its magic spray.
Men become once more children
and learn again to play.
It is a magic fountain
where inspired youth is won.
The magic's not the water.
It's the laughter and fun.

Morning Air
Soft morning air lays out its array,
Sweet cherry scents and wild bird calls.
Nature blithely starting a new day,
Emerging sounds through thick forest walls.
Sweet cherry scents and wild bird calls,
Animal squeaks, scratches and chatter,
Emerging sounds through thick forest walls,
Tiny bird feet pitter and patter.
Animal squeaks, scratches and chatter,
Bees come buzzing and insects hum.
Tiny bird feet pitter and patter.
Living creatures of all kinds come.
Slowly the kaleidoscope reveals
Nature blithely starting a new day,
Insect buzzes and animal squeals,
Soft morning air lays out its array.

Sunflower Fields
From tiny seeds for planting
Little voices soon to scream
With rugged green stalks touching
Sunflower faces beam.
Sunflower fields are chattering
in the middle of the day
while the sun is shining
and the flowers have their way.
Heads turned to face each other
petals waving greetings yellow
A warm sunflower convention
Once a year to say hello.
